Beautiful Work From Romy Berjot

Hello art lovers

Today we will be looking at some exciting new art from one of our top artists.

Romy Berjot is a hard worker whose dedication to her craft comes out in all the art she creates.

Today we will be showcasing what this talented artist can do with ordinary furniture.

Here is Romy’s own feelings on her art.

"With my love odd disregarded rejected, outgrown furniture and with
inspiration stemming from 1960's & 70's psychedelia I love the loudness that I can bring to the pieces.”

”Then on the opposite scale the subdued tones of times gone by with the
shabbiness of furniture stained, worn and loved.”

As you can see Romy is quite the talent.

Come on down to the gallery if you would like to see more of her unique art work.

Artist Profile: Annette Spanski

Hello art lovers.

We are happy to announce the beginning of a series of artist profiles here on the Blog.

We do this so you can get to know the wonderful and talented artists that make up the community at the Urban Paradise Art Gallery.

First up is a talented artist named
Annette Spanski

Artist Annette Spanski

Gold Coast Artist Annette Spanski signature art is her textured spiral paintings. Each spiral is finished with a unique eye catching centre piece.

My textured art expresses the universal landscape of the spiral, the flow, energy and form of a spiral is limitless. Each painting is an expression of my unique perception of the world, resonating with colour, and respect for the endless cycle of life.

“Generally I like to leave the paintings untitled, says Annette. I enjoy listening to the viewer’s interpretation of the art, its fun letting the new owner or viewer add that last finishing touch to the art work, by giving it a title according to what they see in the piece.”

Annette uses her own blend of custom mixed metallic paints in most of her spiral paintings.
